The National Transportation authority participated in the eighth meeting of the officials port authorities and maritime administrations of the GCC delegation headed by HE Salem Ali Al Zaabi the Executive Director of the Maritime Transport Sector and Captain Abdul Wahab Al Dewany customs of the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport and
Mr. Yaakub Hasab Abdullah from Sharjah Ports and Customs, which took place during the from 7 to 8 2009 at the Secretariat General in Riyadh, and the meeting was attended by representatives of all Member States. At the beginning of the meeting, participants reviewed the agenda items, which contains the Secretariat's note on the memorandum of understanding Riyadh and the Safety of Maritime Navigation and Hydrographic Survey in the GCC States and included the coordination of the audit on the application of international treaties and obligations, and the vessels are not subjected to detention and the imposition of fines and prevent them from entering the global ports, and the adoption by each of the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman State of Qatar and the establishment of a collaborative information between these States to Bahrain to oversee the administrative coordination with" Paul Starr" company.
