Under the auspices of His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, HH Sheikh Seif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, opened the International Security National Resilience Exhibition and Conference (ISNR 2010).
The NTA participated in the conference held during the period from 1st-3rd of March 2010 in the Exhibition Centre in Abu Dhabi.


In his speech on this occasion, HH Sheikh Seif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, confirmed that the United Arab Emirates is considered one of the most safe and secure countries in the world.
The NTA reviewed the marine transport services delivered by the NTA in order to realize its values of servicing customers and delivering the best of accurate and reliable services.

The Marine Transport Sector employees gave a detailed explanation on the role of the marine sector and its most recent milestones that support the NTA policy for covering NTA initiatives and accomplishing its strategy that provides for protection against marine accidents, provision of complete safety for marine transport operations, establishment of rules and regulations in connection with marine navigation regulation, issuance of marine navigation licenses, development and facilitation of means of marine transport.

The International Security National Resilience Exhibition and Conference (ISNR 2010) addressed the issue of protection of vital objectives and international terrorism and cyber crime, while companies exhibited state-of-the–art technologies, progressive logistic solutions in the area of interior security and latest techniques of protection and monitoring. The exhibition, in which more than 218 exhibitors from 24 countries participated, featured large attendance from visitors, officials and security specialists.

The Higher Committee organizing the exhibition emphasized its satisfaction with the exhibition and the conference events, especially that the area of exhibition in its second session has increased by 17%, about 15800 square meter, equal to 48% increase in participation, compared to the previous session.

The Committee pointed out that this session witnessed unprecedented international participation which reinforces the importance of this event at the international level. Germany, the UK, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the US were among the prominent leaders and specialists in the security and risk prevention industry who participated with national stands in the exhibition.

The conference was attended by Dr. Nasser Seif Al Mansouri, Director General of the NTA, HE Salem Al Zouabi, the Executive Director for Marine Transport Sector, Captain Abdul-Wahaab Al Diwani, Captain Osama Abdur-Raziq and a number of the marine transport sector employees.
