From the desire of the National Transport Authority to communicate with the institutions of civil society, and support for the effort that the Blood bank doing to provide the needs of the sick and injured, the National Transport Authority organized a blood donation campaign in the "Day of Tender" on Monday, May 17th, 2010 in collaboration with the Blood Bank -  Abu Dhabi, by HE Dr. Nasser Al Mansouri General Manager of the NTA, and His Excellency Salem Al Zaabi, Executive Director of Maritime Transport, and HE Engineer Abdullah Alkathiri Executive Director of Land Transport, and a group of employees and workers in the National Transport Authority.

Dr. Nasser Al Mansouri General Manager of the NTA confirmed that the demand for blood donation by the employees of the NTA and its officials consider as a giving from them to patients and people infected and those in need of blood, and this consider as a way of  sacrifice for others, and who work hard in difficult conditions for the continuation of development , and progress in our country the UAE, adding that the success of the blood donation campaign, organized by the Government Communication Department in the NTA underlines the success of the approach taken by the NTA since its inception and in the adoption of social responsibility and reaching out with effective institutions of society.

large number of employees participated in the “ day of Tender”  , including fifty  employees, and all of them expressed their cooperation and their commitment to donate and participate in this campaign and support them to the needs of the sick and injured who need blood.
